CHRISTIANITY FOCUS CENTRE MINISTRIES
MENGO-KISENYI, LC1 KIGANDA ZONE“WHY TOUGH PEOPLE LAST LONGER THAN TOUGH TIMES”
Greetings to ALL of You in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ; Thank You for the Tremendous Work That You Are Doing For The Kingdom Of God.
The Focus Annual Ministers’ Conference Was Initiated 12 Years Back and It Involves Both Already Established Ministers and Up Coming Ministers of The Kingdom Of God.
In the 13th Annual ministers’ conference, the theme was, “WHY TOUGH PEOPLE LAST LONGER THAN TOUGH TIMES”. About two months before this conference, God motivated me to write a book titled with this very theme. I believe this book will be a blessing to thousands of lives. People will read and be inspired by the tremendous revelations compressed there.
In this book, I identified Eighteen reasons as to “WHY TOUGH PEOPLE LAST LONGER THAN TOUGH TIMES.”
THESE ARE:
Tough People Choose To Be Tough
Tough People Build Their Lives On The Word Of God - Strong Foundations
Tough People Live For A Purpose
Tough People Have Faith; They See Their Future In The Now
Tough People Believe in Themselves; They Have Self-Confidence
Tough People Know How To Be At Peace In The Midst Of Trials
Tough People Are Secure
Tough People Never Quit
Tough People Are Risk Takers
Tough People Know That Time Is Meant To Come And Go
Tough People Let Go Of Their Enemies
Tough People Forgive and Forget
Tough People Get over Issues More Effectively
Tough People Live A Life of Self-Denial
Tough People Are Always Loyal To Their Masters.
Tough People Attract Those Who Desire To Be Tough.
Tough People Prepare For The Tough Times
Tough People Can Bear Situations PatientlyNow all the above reasons have examples and scriptures backing them up from the word of God. In this newsletter I will briefly talk about the second reason, which states, “Tough People Build Their Lives On The Word Of God - Strong Foundations.”
In the book of Matthew 7:24 – 27, Jesus teaches about a parable two kinds of people;
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.Jesus taught like a tough man. In this scripture, we learn that the difference is not in the nature of the challenges we face but the foundation we build on. Therefore, sometimes we will never know the kind of house we are until the rain and wind comes. Therefore, the purpose for the rain is to test the foundation of our house. When you build on the rock which is the Word of God and indeed God himself because the Bible tells us in Genesis that, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God , and Jesus is God and therefore the rock is Jesus Christ. However, it not only talks about “hearing” but “doing” the Word of God as well.
All the speakers in the conference were talking about the theme in their own different revelations but amazingly whatever they preached were in the reasons above.
For example among the speakers were:
Apostle Alex Mitala, Apostle Michael Kyazze, Bishop Michael Mugerwa, Apostle John Bunjo, Pastor Gertrude Sekayi, including the Guest Of Honor and Honorable Minister for Ethics and Integrity. It was Dr. James Nsaba Buturo who said that, “Those who accept Jesus Christ are the “tough people.” He continued and said, “We must not admit to undermine ourselves because when God’s children choose to do something, positive things will have to happen”. He urged all Christians to pay the price in order to change their environment (Kampala/Kisenyi). Among the international guests were Prophet Michael Price (and his wife Apostle Sheree Price) from Austin, Texas, USA. Prophet Michael said, “Tough times give us the power to actualize our potential.” He continued and said that a test is given to us for us to succeed and not to fail.” The calling and installing of Joseph in Genesis 37 is where Prophet Price derived his message.
During this conference, each day always had three different speakers and on the closing day, forty – two deacons were appointed, dedicated to God and ordained by Pastors and Elders before the congregation.
This was a wonderful week for those that were able to attend and we bless God for succeeding from the beginning to the end of the conference.
CHRISTIANITY FOCUS CENTRE MINISTRIES stands on five pillars which are the:
Apostles
Prophets
Evangelists
Pastors
TeachersIn addition to standing on these pillars, we focus on winning souls, delivering captives, making disciples, and bringing unity among churches. Where others see dust, we see Gold dust. We believe that in everybody’s’ life, there is a Gold mine waiting to be discovered.
Therefore, coming together is just a beginning, keeping together is progress, but working together is success. I therefore challenge ALL of you to come and work together, because this ministry always has enough room to integrate you.
Always remember that, “When the going gets tough, it is only the tough that gets going”
May God Bless you as forward this newsletter to ten other people before you communicate back to me!Yours in Christ’s service,
Bishop David Livingstone Kiganda.
