SOME UNIQUIE POLICIES
OF NFBAPC-U
|
|
a) Is to maintain and further
spiritual, social and economic life of the people of Uganda and
other parts of the world. This is being accomplished through evangelization
and continuous teaching of the bible by born-again churches and
their multiplication throughout the world.
b) In the progress of this policy, the fellowship is co-operating
with other bodies which pursue similar policies.
c) To avoid the spirit of over concentration of power in a given
team of elites. This is being achieved by encouraging, recognizing,
and utilizing for the whole body the divers gifts and talents in
Pastors and churches, and to allow for fresh free and fair elections
at given intervals.
|
d) An open-door policy. In
order to pursue such a policy all missionaries, missionary churches,
para-church organizations and indigenous churches and organizations
are being registered, encouraged, facilitated in their work by coordination
of their activities throughout .
COLLAPSED CHURCH
UP- DATES
As you could be aware that on March 7th 2006, the body of Christ
in Uganda faced another tragedy when one of her member church building
(the City of the Lord Church) collapsed to the ground, killing 26
and leaving over 85 people with major and minor injuries. This turned
into a very big project but urgent, since NFBAPC as the umbrella
body had to assume all the responsibility of transporting and burring
all the dead bodies and thereafter NFBAPC-U Kampala District was
entrusted with the entire project and that was to follow up
the believed and to ensure medical, financial care to all
those who needed it. Some money had been raised from individuals,
Churches and Companies towards the same Project. The Kampala District
Pastors sat and agreed to appoint a follow up committee and to be
headed by Dr. Lameck Lumala to make a survey and compile a report
on the same, which could be sent to the NFBAPC head office and to
whoever we think is concern. As we thought more we realized that
to some people a mere report may not be enough, we have agreed to
attach to it even an exhaustive accountability report to keep everybody
updated.
Please follow the directions and download for your self these
two important documents. Thank you.
