Christianity Focus Grammar School is located at Budaali Village, Namayumba sub county, wakiso District- Uganda. The School is located 28 miles along Hoima road 3kms on kitalya road.
HISTORY
The school was established in 1998 by Bishop David Kiganda, after a ground breaking crusade where we harvested many souls to the kingdom of God and establishment of Christianity Focus Church Budaali,a branch of Christianity Focus Centre mengo kisenyi .
Bishop David Kiganda (The Director) realized that the reigning illiteracy level in the area (only about 3% of the people could read or write)and this could kill his vision of empowering the local people spiritually and economically through the living word of God.
The high illiteracy level was due to the fact that the area is located in Luwero Triangle where the 1981 to 1986 liberation war was based, which disrupted the economic development of the area and the fact that the pupils have to move very long distances to reach school on foot( some distances are as far as 4miles, so Budaali acted as a solution.
The school started in the church Builing with 40 children, but now has risen to 400 pupils and Only 4 class rooms have been built. This means that more class rooms are needed to handle the increasing number of children every term.
OBJECTIVES
The school started with 4 major aims:
To provide education to the orphans in the area and the children of the poor people of the community whose economic foundation was destroyed by the 1981-1986 war.
To spread the word of God (Gospel)to both the children and the community or parents.
To provide Adult literacy.
To empower the people economically through provision of employment at and near the school. STAFFING.

CHALLENGES.
The school has got the following challenges.
The classrooms are very small to accommodate the big and increasing number of children. The present 4 rooms are not enough for 400 children.
The school also need more qualified teachers and their welfare.
The prevailing poverty prevents the people from taking the children to school.. Parents can not afford the basic requirements for their own children. This explains the level of poverty surrounding this area.
Can you imagine that a Donation of $50 can educate a child of this area, and this would include School fees for a full term, a pair of uniform, all books, a pair of shoes and a cup of porridge at every breakfast.
